Headington Amateurs 4 Trowbridge Town 0
A makeshift Trowbridge Town side were always second best against high flyers Headington. A number of changes saw Adam Nunn in defence, goalkeeper Adam Sheppard coming on as a substitute forward and manager Neil Kirkpatrick as a substitute in defence following an injury to Adam Glover. Porter made a fine save in the very first minute, diving to his right to concede a corner but he could do nothing to stop Ben Baldwin giving Headington the lead with a smart turn and finish after just seven minutes. Trowbridge had a good chance to equalise after 13 minutes, Dan Kovacs pulling a cross back across the edge of the area from the left wing but Chris Tricker seemed to step over the ball when a shot on target looked likely. An Adam Nunn free kick and a good run by Dave Percival were the only other first half opportunities for Trowbridge as Headington continued to look dangerous. The home side took control in the second half. Jamie Mundy driving the ball home from 20 yards to make it 2-0 with only 6 minutes of the second half gone. Two goals in quick succession completed the scoring. Mark Evans tucked a penalty away after 75 minutes and 2 minutes later Baldwin grabbed his second to make it 4-0.
