Cricklade Town 2 Trowbridge Town 1
Despite have the lions share of possession, Trowbridge lacked the sharpness that had been showing up front before the weather enforced break. Cricklade defended in numbers very well and hit Trowbridge on the break twice to take the points in a very un-entertaining match. Adam Smith gave the home side a first half advantage against the run of play after 35 minutes. Trowbridge went looking for an equaliser in the second half but the final ball always seemed to go astray. Adam Nunn had a strong penalty claim turned down before substitute, Dan Crease grabbed the equaliser after 79 minutes. Just as the match looked as if it would end in a draw, Ben Carter with a good turn and finish from close range, won the match for Cricklade with 5 minutes remaining.
