Trowbridge served up a bank holiday treat before a record crowd of 369 that was boosted by the presence of the "ground-hoppers". Dominating from the start, the home side created early chances. Luke Smith shot wide and Matt Cooper headed into the 'keepers arms. Tytherington hit a post after 10 minutes but this proved to be their only opportunity as Trowbridge continued to attack. The deadlock was broken after 24 minutes; Dave Percival squaring the ball for Nathan Flower to slot home his first goal for the club. Chris Tricker made it 2-0 after 35 minutes to produce a half-time score of 2-0. Tytherington pulled a goal back after 56 minutes. Adam Sheppard being unfortunate when his clearance rebounded against Jimmy Potts and went into the net. Trowbridge regained their two goal margin on the hour. Dave Percival confidently rounding Rob Dent, the Tytherington goalkeeper to make it 3-1. Within five minutes, Matt Cooper added two more to make it 5-1. The first after 64 minutes when he managed to get the ball in off the crossbar from a tight angle. A minute later he was on the end of an Adam Nunn cross to score again. Tytherington pulled a goal back through substitute Sage, a fine looping shot that gave Sheppard no chance but Trowbridge weren't finished yet. Adrian Barnes made it 6-2 from close range and Adam Nunn saved the best 'till last. A rasping shot from 20 yards with 3 minutes remaining which grazed the angle between crossbar and post on it's way in to make the final score 7-2
