After drawing 2-2 at Hardenhuish Park the previous Saturday, Trowbridge had no trouble in beating Chippenham by three goals in the replay. Trowbridge took complete control, the goals being scored by Vic Lambden (2) and Ivor Compton. As a result of this match, Trowbridge received an away match with Bath City in the Fourth Qualifying Round. This replay, played during the afternoon attracted 1363 spectators.
