Gloucester City, striving hard for promotion, were pleased with a 1-1 draw in the Easter Saturday fixture at Frome Road.

The game was largely a battle of defences but the best scoring chances came Trowbridge's way only to be wasted.

Trowbridge took the lead in the 22nd minute through Derek Evans but three minutes later, Gloucester were on level terms.
