Despite being under pressure for most of the time, Trowbridge never gave up in this match and as a result grabbed a point in the second half. Warminster played the better football for much of the first half and Trowbridge were limited to just a few decent attacking opportunities. The first of these came from Chris Tricker after 18 minutes earning a corner when he forced the goalkeeper into a good save after beating a defender. Warminster then had one or two chances saved by Chris Vaughan. The home team finally took the lead late in the first half when Walead Bakali slipped at the back and a rare mistake by Vaughan allowed the ball to run to Gary Lewis who finished well.

The second half was a little better from Trowbridge but still far short of their recent form. Warminster nearly wrapped the game up in the 77th minute but Vaughan did well saving with his feet. A few minutes earlier,Mark Conners had his leg taken away in the area and when the referee gave nothing it looked as if a first league defeat since the end of March was likely. Substitute Paul Bendell had other ideas though striking a fine shot into the bottom right hand corner of the net with 8 minutes remaining.

Note: Match was played at Warminster even though this was a "home" fixture.
