2:15 PM Kick-off

Scorers: Andy Bloodworth, Mike Little (2)

Trowbridge Town returned to action after another weather enforced break, with a trip to 3rd placed Stratton Crosslink. They returned with all three points and ended Stratton's unbeaten run which stretched back to September, The first chance fell to Stratton after ten minutes but the shot was well wide. The game then settled down and Trowbridge began to gain more possession. Despite this, the breakthrough came following a Stratton corner after 18 minutes. The ball broke free to Tim Waylen and his long ball picked out Mike Little who ran on past two defenders and finished well with a shot into the left hand bottom corner of the net. The score remained 1-0 at half time and everyone headed for the clubhouse for a warm-up.

The second half started evenly and Stratton often played the better football but the determination and work rate of a much improved Trowbridge side proved effective and Andy Bloodworth grabbed his first goal of the season when he broke on the right, ran past the 'keeper and finished strongly. Two minutes later Mike Little who's pace had threatened the Stratton defence all afternoon, scored with a fine volley to make it 3-0. Stratton grabbed a deserved consolation goal in the last ten minutes when Rob Broadbank followed up after a Chris Vaughan save.
