his was a game of two halves, Trowbridge dominated the first half against a very physical Wroughton side but failed to take advantage, hence the half time score of 0-0. The second half started evenly and just as Wroughton appeared to be taking the upper hand and cross was deflected onto the underside of the bar and into the net to give Trowbridge a 1-0 lead. After the goal Trowbridge appeared to try to sit on the lead but always looked threatened when Wroughton attacked. The equaliser came 20 minutes into the second half, a simple side foot finish for the unmarked forward. Just to add to our injury problems, Mark Edwards also came off injured during the second half. Oh well, a point was better than nothing! |
