Scorers: Mark Connor, Chris Henry

Perhaps I should have known that this was not going to be a good day when I realised I was traveling to Cricklade without my camera. Hence no pictures!. A score line of 3-2 sounds entertaining but I've seen more exciting 0-0 draws in the pouring rain. Trowbridge started brightly with Adam Smith doing well down the right wing and took and early lead when Chris "Thierry" Henry latched onto a through ball and finished confidently into the bottom right hand corner. Cricklade equalised later in the first half when an attempted clearance rebounded into the net following a goalmouth scramble. I doubt if James Richards, the Cricklade forward knew much about it!

Trowbridge regained their advantage in the second half when Mark Connors headed the ball over the Cricklade keeper. Trowbridge seemed comfortable at this stage but the defence is desperately lacking the experience of Andy Bonser (Injured) and Cricklade squared the game at 2-2, Dave Parker finishing following another goalmouth scramble. Having suffered the disappointment of late equaliser, the traveling fans thought we would at least come away with a point but in the dying minutes of the match, 'keeper Dave Hunt failed to meet a cross Cricklade stole all three points when Ian Ross headed home the winner.
