Strong winds spoilt this match but Trowbridge had the edge and deserved the win. Trowbridge attacked with the wind behind them in the first half and Cricklade found it difficult to clear their lines. Dave Percival did well after ten minutes, feeding the ball out to Gavin Eyre on the right wing but when the cross came in Waleed Bakali shot over the bar. A couple of minutes later, a corner from Adam Nunn found it's way to Bakali, and his ball into the area was flick-headed towards goal by Lee Hayward. The Cricklade goalkeeper cleared the ball off the line with his feet. Percival gave Trowbridge the lead in the 25th minute. He ran onto a long ball into the penalty area and smashed the ball home.

In the second half, Cricklade failed to use the wind to their advantage and Trowbridge still created more chances. Balkai heading just wide after 61 minutes following an Adam Nunn cross. Chances also fell to Percival and Ricky Hulbert, both missing the target. Cricklade nearly grabbed a point in the 89th minute with a rare attack that Adam Sheppard saved with his legs. Adam Nunn then struck the underside of the crossbar in the dying seconds.
