Trowbridge finish season with comfortable away win.

Trowbridge completed their league campaign with a comfortable win at Hook Norton. The home side had a goal ruled out for offside in the fourth minute but Trowbridge took the lead a minute later. Dave Percival found Matt Cooper whose shot was just strong enough to cross the line as a defender tried to clear. With 15 minutes gone Trowbridge were awarded a corner which Ricky Trott headed towards goal but the ‘keeper saved well and the ball was scrambled away for another corner. Daniel Barnes made it 2-0 forcing the ball home from close range as the corner came across from Dave Percival. Percival earned another corner after 25 minutes with a good run in the left wing. This created the third goal. A Matt Cooper header was pushed upwards by the goalkeeper but the ball dropped over the line despite efforts to clear by a defender. Adam Nunn struck the crossbar with a fine shot before half-time, the ball bounced down and onto the goal-line before being cleared. Hook Norton nearly pulled a goal back in the last minute of the first half but Walled Bakali cleared off the line to keep a clean sheet.

Trowbridge dominated the second half but could not add to their score. Dan Lardner, Dave Percival & Adam Nunn all having attempts that were either saved or went wide.
