In their efforts to reach the top eleven of the league and gain a position in the Premier Division, the Town gained a valuable two points at Yiewsley (now Hillingdon Borough).
Two goal in the sixteenth and eighteenth minutes by Vic Lambden and Les Edwards gave Trowbridge a good start. Yiewsley scored early in the second half, but Mike Baher increased the lead. Yiewsley scored again 15 minutes from the end, but Trowbridge held on to the 3-2 advantage.
