With ten minutes to go in the Southern League match at Cambridge United, Trowbridge conceded three to lose 4-2 after having a 2-1 lead. Trowbridge had yet to win a Southern League match in their first season in the league.
Cambridge took the lead after 23 minutes, after absorbing tremendous pressure from the Town. Trowbridge equalised two minutes later and Roy Bence making his Southern League debut scored the second.
