The game at Crawley was abandoned in the 86th minute with the Town losing 3-2 due to fog.
Crawley had twice gone into the lead by Ken Wrintmore had equalised each time. Crawley's third goal has been a hotly disputed penalty.
The Town had not enjoyed a very good Christmas gaining only one point from their two matches with Salisbury and promotion hopes had taken a dive.
The game was played without Archie Thorburn who had earlier been released by the club.
