After half an hour Gravesend and Northfleet held a two goal lead at Frome Road, but a great second half display gave the Town both points. Alan Peacock reduced the arrears and Billy Horton added another to equalise the scores just before half-time. Billy Horton added another in the 67th minute.
The attendance was 973.
