Trowbridge won the Southern League Cup play off match at Frome Road with a very competent display. Goals were scored by Terry Evans (9 minutes) and Geoff Medcroft (65 minutes), but the Town defence also had to hold out pressure from Gloucester, Frank Shipley making a number of excellent saves.
