Corsham Town Reserves
2 - 1
 Trowbridge Town

Scorers: Paul Bendle, Chris Tricker

Trowbridge came away with all three points tonight by defeating a Corsham side that included at least four first team players. Having dominated the first half, the travelling supporters were very annoyed when the referee awarded a penalty to Corsham late in the half, adjudging Wayne Miles to have handled the ball. Wayne was looking in the opposite direction at the time! Justice was done however when Dave Hunt made a fine save to keep the game goalless at half time.

At the start of the second half, our injury list continued to grow when Ben Gardner had to be substituted. Trowbridge continued to search for the first goal which came once again from Chris Tricker. An excellent finish into the top corner. Corsham never gave up and the game swung from end to end. The equaliser came from a header, believed to be an own goal although I must confess that I didn't see who's head it was! Trowbridge were not about to settle for a point though, Paul Bendle (who came on as substitute during the second half) exquisitely finishing with a shot deep into the bottom corner of the net. Both Paul & Chris had other chances late in the game and Corsham also hit the bar. All in all, a very entertaining evening.
