Trowbridge have reached the final of the Wiltshire Senior Cup for the second year in succession with a fine win over Hellenic Premier Division side Pewsey Vale. Gavin Eyre opened the scoring after 12 minutes running on to a Dave Mitchell through ball and finishing well. The lead was doubled after 20 minutes, Dave Percival beating three players before being up-ended in the penalty are and Adam Nunn slotted home the resultant penalty. Pewsey responded with a couple of chances from dead ball situations, Adam Sheppard having to deal with a couple of in swinging corners. They then pulled a goal back following a free kick that was headed back across goal. Sheppard with no chance as a forward headed home. Waleed Bakali restored the two goal margin just before half time, rounding the goal-keeper and finishing well after receiving a pass from Dave Percival. With only five minutes of the second half gone, Pewsey made it 3-2 when a shot towards goal was deflected past Sheppard. Any fears of a comeback were soon forgotten though as Dave Percival ran through in the 55th minute to wrap up the scoring from just inside the penalty area. Trowbridge will meet Western League side Corsham in the final
