Trowbridge have reached the final of the Wiltshire Senior Cup for the second year in succession with a fine win over Hellenic Premier Division side Pewsey Vale. Gavin Eyre opened the scoring after 12 minutes running on to a Dave Mitchell through ball and finishing well. The lead was doubled after 20 minutes, Dave Percival beating three players before being up-ended in the penalty are and Adam Nunn slotted home the resultant penalty. Pewsey responded with a couple of chances from dead ball situations, Adam Sheppard having to deal with a couple of in swinging corners. They then pulled a goal back following a free kick that was headed back across goal. Sheppard with no chance as a forward headed home. Waleed Bakali restored the two goal margin just before half time, rounding the goal-keeper and finishing well after receiving a pass from Dave Percival. With only five minutes of the second half gone, Pewsey made it 3-2 when a shot towards goal was deflected past Sheppard. Any fears of a comeback were soon forgotten though as Dave Percival ran through in the 55th minute to wrap up the scoring from just inside the penalty area.
