From start to finish, Town looked in complete control and they didn't have to wait too long as Ryan Nicholls opened the scoring with 15 minutes gone. The second came from James Vincent who calmly slotted it in the bottom corner. The third came just after half time when James Vincent doubled his tally to make it 3-0.
Substitute, Phil Baker got on the score sheet with a lovely finish in to the bottom corner, another substitute Ben Millard ran through one on one with the 'keeper and another clinical finish into the bottom corner to make it 5-0.
New signing Nick Ridout gothis first league goal to make it 6-0. Wroughton claimed a consolation goal with a deflected free kick but this was followed straight after by Nick Ridout who doubled his tally as well to make it 7-1.
