Trowbridge returned to winning ways with a result that could have easily shown a bigger margin. Wroughton were limited to only two shots on target in the whole match, neither of which really troubled Adam Shepperd in the Trowbridge goal. Dave Mitchell had the ball in the net after only 9 minutes following a through pass from Dave Percival but unfortunately Mitchell was correctly ruled offside. The first goal came from another Percival run on 16 minutes. Coming in from the left wing and threading the ball through for Waleed Bakali to steer the ball round the goalkeeper from just inside the penalty area. Shortly after the opening goal, Dave Mitchell went close on three occasions. The Wroughton goalkeeper saved the first two efforts and after 36 minutes a header went just wide. With only five minutes of the second half gone, Trowbridge were gifted a goal by the Wroughton goalkeeper, allowing a shot from Bakali to somehow roll over his body and cross the line, Gavin Eyre creating the opportunity this time with a pass from the right wing. The third goal, a 25 yard strike by Mike Little wrapped up the scoring. Matt Minnus once again looked lively when coming on as substitute and went close with a shot across goal that went just wide after 75 minutes. Trowbridge continuted to attack right up to the final whistle but were unable to add to their score in a very one sided second half.
